eBooks for the Homeschooling Parent

Homeschooling the Higher Schooler (coming soon!!!)

Secrets of Successful Homeschooling

Reviews.....

This e-book is great for people who are just starting or considering to home school.

It is written by a number of 'experts' and they answer many questions 'newbies' may have or be concerned about. The writings are an encouragement and helpful.

The e-book also goes on to include helps and references and offers many specifics on a variety of topics from "how to do things without spending a fortunate" to making a lapbook - something I never heard of.

Looking back on things, I think this e-book would have been very helpful when we first started preparing for homeschooling. It would have given us a sound basis and offered us a number of options for how we wanted to homeschool. We only learned about these different methods as grew in our knowledge by reading various articles and books.

In short, if you are contemplating homeschooling, this book will be an encouragement and give you a good understanding of how to do get started on that wonderful journey of teaching your own loved ones the things you want them to learn and know.

------------------------------------

Let me start off by saying I appreciate the Christian foundation of "The Secrets of Successful Homeschooling." I imagine that a large percentage of homeschoolers will particularly appreciate the conservative basis.

How much would you pay to have the confidence that you'll be successful with the homeschooling? Because I think the real strength of this ebook is its potential to instill confidence in the reader. You can find information almost anywhere, but finding confidence is a whole different issue.

I think one of the difficulties that many new (and even old) homeschoolers face is the overload of information. Sometimes the volume of information out there seems just daunting. This is not a book that is going to burden you with piles and piles of data. Instead, it's an ebook full of wonderful and creative ideas. The nuts and bolts section has some valuable and very specific information. So specific, that some of the articles will only be useful to a small number of homeschoolers (i.e. those with special needs students, or those who live in Britain).

Of course I have to recommend this book. I'd say it's a small price to pay for the increase in confidence you'll potentially reap. After that, all the great ideas and information is just a bonus.
