Other Students
You will meet an interesting variety of people in college. Be wary of those that would be a bad influence on you and look to be friendly with those who will be a good influence.
Most students are probably going to be friendly while not everyone is going to be a hard worker or put a ton of effort into studying. You will not always know that much about some people until you are stuck with them in your lab group or until you have to do a project with them. Even so, do your best and encourage them to work hard too. If your instructor ever wants you to comment on the efforts of your ‘teammates’ - be sure you tell the truth without any hesitation.
Research has suggested that the majority of ‘A’ students sit in the front of the room and the grades kind of go down as it shifts towards the back of the room. It might be a good idea to keep that in mind when you are deciding where in the room to sit and whom you want to sit near. |
