Homeschoolers Should Celebrate Their Graduation

Graduate
As if you would forget this part.

After all your hard work being homeschooled, take some time to graduate. Celebrate your graduation however you choose and don’t take it for granted like I did. High school graduation is not exactly easy and it isn’t something everybody gets the chance to do.

What about a Diploma?
Do you really need a high school diploma? Not really.

Unless your preferred college insists you have a diploma, or unless you really want one, you do not need to bother getting one. Most places will accept your high school transcript, which you will need, as proof that you have graduated from high school.

I never had any evidence of graduating from high school other than a transcript and I am currently in the process of entering my third different college.

Now that I said that, I must add, that your state may have different requirements. South Carolina, my home, did not have any requirements like this.

So, to play it safe, you must know what is required of homeschoolers in the state that you live in. We had a statewide homeschool association, which supplied us with the state requirements. You probably have one of these too, no matter what state you live in.

Lastly, if you really need (or want) a diploma, you can either buy a pre-made one and fill in the blanks or have your parents make a fancy one on the computer.
